Refund and cancellation policy
DataFlux Consulting sells paid programming consulting — performance reviews, migration programming blocks, and advisory sessions. This policy explains refunds and cancellations for those services under Malaysian consumer law principles, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999.
Supplier: DataFlux Consulting, SSM 202103156789, info@dataflux.digital, +60-88-000-2110.
Cooling-off for direct sales
Where a contract qualifies as a direct sales contract under the Consumer Protection Act, you may have a statutory cancellation right within ten (10) days from receipt of a written agreement, subject to statutory exceptions. Contact us immediately if you believe this applies.
Service fees (proposed terms — pending business confirmation)
Unless your signed statement of work states otherwise:
- Advisory packs and fixed-fee sprints: full refund within 7 calendar days of written booking confirmation if no substantive work has started (no log review, no code delivered, no scheduled session consumed).
- Deposits and milestones: non-refundable once work on that milestone has started, including environment access, diagnostic scripts, or migration drafts.
- Consumed hours: advisory hours used in live sessions are non-refundable.
Cancellations and rescheduling
You may reschedule an advisory session with at least forty-eight (48) hours’ notice. Late cancellations forfeit that session hour. Project pauses longer than thirty (30) days may require a new statement of work.
How to request a refund
Email info@dataflux.digital with your name, invoice reference, and reason. We respond within five business days. Approved refunds are returned via the original payment method where possible, within fourteen (14) banking days.
Non-refundable items
Third-party costs prepaid on your behalf (licences, travel booked at your request) are passed through without markup where stated, and are not refundable once purchased.
Disputes
If we cannot resolve a concern, you may pursue remedies available under Malaysian law, including the Tribunal for Consumer Claims for qualifying amounts up to RM 50,000.
