Performance engineering

We profile slow transactions end to end: wait events, buffer churn, plan stability, and ORM-generated SQL that only appears under load. Deliverables typically include a ranked issue list, suggested index and query rewrites, and reproducible benchmark scripts your team can run in CI.

Migration programming

Schema moves, charset conversions, and phased cutovers are implemented as versioned scripts with explicit rollback paths. We favour idempotent backfills, shadow reads, and rehearsed cutover checklists rather than big-bang dumps that assume quiet production nights.

Advisory sessions

Technical leadership and senior DBAs book 90-minute blocks to pressure-test designs: partitioning choices, replication lag budgets, and failure modes before capital is committed. Sessions are remote by default; notes are shared afterward in plain language.

What we do not sell

There is no SaaS dashboard, no perpetual support retainer bundled by default, and no promise of 24/7 operations cover. If you need always-on DBA coverage, we can help you interview partners, but that is outside our core programming scope.
